How to Upload my Joomla files by using Filezilla FTP

This guide gives you a short overview on how to use FileZilla client. By default you don't have to configure FileZilla, so you can start directly working with the program.

Instructions :

  Connecting your Computer to an FTP Server

-  Download Filezilla software first right Here..., install it on your Computer, and run this software.
-  Enter the address of the server into the Host field (i.e. example.com), your Username, your Password, the port of the server (21 for FTP, 22 for SFTP). Note: All of this data provide by your Hosting Provider

 -  Click on Quickconnect button

  After a successful connection attempt, a list of files and directories appears on the right side of the main window.

  Local site means your Personal Computer's Data, and Remote site means your Hosting that provide by your Hosting Provider. Below that you will see the remote directory tree.


  Transferring Files (Note: transfer your Joomla files to public_html folder)
Upload your Joomla files or directory, select them and right-click the selection. Then you can click on Upload in the popup menu.

  Now, you can wait this Uploading Process and finished it.
